Welcome! I'm Katie, a licensed clinical social worker dedicated to helping clients understand their emotions, build self-compassion through education, and create a future aligned with their values.

I take a systems perspective, recognizing how our relationships—to people, communities, and the world—shape our experiences and influence our mental health. My approach is trauma-informed and neurodivergent-affirming, integrating CBT and parts-based models while providing a neurobiological context for deeper understanding.

I have a background in supporting survivors of trauma, with a focus on women's issues. I also have experience in crisis response and in navigating the medical health system, both as a patient and provider.

I work with individuals, supporting them in navigating mental health challenges, including PTSD, depression, or issues like identity exploration and self-esteem. Our work will be tailored to you, whether it's skill building, emotional healing, managing concerning symptoms, or planning a future that brings you joy.

Hello and welcome. I'm Emmy, a queer and neurodivergent clinical social worker.

When clients come into my office for the first time, they are often tired and frustrated. They feel stuck in old emotions and patterns. Together, we use deep feeling, imagination, and physical sensation to finally release pain and fear from the past.

I am trained in and utilize EMDR, parts work (IFS), CBT, and art therapy techniques.

I have over 5 years of experience working with trauma survivors, with a particular focus on sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and childhood trauma. I also work with clients on issues of anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and parenting. My approach to therapy is about moving beyond intellectual understanding, to heal deep negative beliefs we hold about ourselves.

My background as a social worker enables me to consider the various systems of oppression that impact mental health and well-being. I employ a feminist, anti-racist, queer rights, and fat liberation framework to incorporate all parts of your identity in our work together.
